Given the COVID-related surge in eCommerce, there continues to be a shipping industry capacity shortage and we have experienced an unparalleled level of shipping cost increases this year including three in just the last six months. As a result, it is necessary to increase our shipping and handling fees to help offset the significant additional surcharges we've incurred. Beginning 1/18/21, the following will be in effect:
- Handling Fee - $8.00/unit with a $25 minimum per order; there is no maximum
- Oversize Freight Charge 90" (previously 96") - $50/unit; $80 minimum per order
- Handling Fee - $9.00/unit with a $25 minimum per order; there is no maximum
- Oversize Freight Charge 90" (previously 96") and over - $50/unit; $80 minimum per order
A note on the shift to the new 90" oversize base: surcharges that hit our industry particularly hard relate to boxes that are over 48" and especially boxes over 96". The 90" and greater oversized fee more accurately captures the larger size of the box that includes the protective packaging.
We will continue to look for ways to reduce packaging, optimize the number of units in a box and negotiate hard to better our rates to reduce shipping costs and minimize the need to increase our fees in the future. Thank you for your understanding and your support.

If you have already set up Installation & Freight Charges for your Client Proposals within DC, this will also be updated automatically effective January 18, 2021.
