By now I am certain that you are exhausted by all of the tariff related emails you have received. So, I will make this simple and concise.

In order to create a fair and flexible policy, as of July 9th we will commence the following:

• Add a 3% surcharge only on our imported products (including those from China);

• This will apply only to orders placed on or after July 9th;

• The surcharge will be a separate line item on our invoices;

• We will have the ability to adjust the surcharge up or down by country of origin if the tariffs vary from where they are today. We will clearly state this on our invoices; and

• There will be no surcharges on any of our furniture, as it is over 98% made in the USA.

• Fabric or Vinyl: US $2/yard • CAN $3/yard
• Leather: US $0.50/sq ft • CAN $0.75/sq ft
• No surcharge on Closeouts, Lifeguard Treatment & Half-Yard Samples!

If (or when) tariffs go down, we’ll lower the surcharge too - that’s a promise~

Updated price lists are below and available at charlottefabrics.com, and all invoices will show the surcharge - no calculator needed. 

Inventory Update:

 We’re bringing in as much fabric as possible and working with U.S. mills to stay stocked. That said, some vendors aren’t restocking - so we can’t either.

If stock is low (20 yards or less) or your order would drop it below 20 yards, the material will need to be physically stock checked in our warehouse for pieces.

May 20, 2025   Dear Valued Horizons Dealers:   As a follow-up to our previous tariff bulletin, we are pleased to share that we are reducing the temporary surcharges applied to select product lines. This adjustment reflects improved conditions and is part of our ongoing effort to minimize the impact of tariffs on our customers. The revised surcharges are as follows:   • 8% on Natural Shades Product Line  • 8% on Shades of Elegance™ Roller Shades Product Line  • 8% on Decorative Hardware Product Line  • 6% on Soft Product Line using our Stock Fabrics  • 3% on Soft Product Line using COM   These surcharges will be added to product costs and will take effect on new orders placed beginning Thursday, May 22nd, 2025.    We understand that price adjustments are never ideal, and we want to assure you that this measure is temporary. Thank you for understanding Dear Valued Customer, We have waited as long as possible before making a decision on how to handle the huge cost increases we have incurred due to tariffs on imports and tariffs on raw material that are used in USA-made fabric. In the meantime, we have been absorbing all cost increases. Unfortunately, this is simply not sustainable. Most of our competitors are going to add line items with varying percent increases; sometimes without notification. We find that to be confusing, requires a calculator and not transparent. Our policy below is the easiest and most understandable in the industry. Tariff Surcharge Update

To our valued customers and partners, Thank you for your continued support and loyalty as we all do our best to navigate this wild “Tariffs” roller coaster. Things are so ever changing and fluid, and it appears as though more level heads are beginning to prevail, at least hopefully. With that said, instead of the 12% surcharge that we sent out yesterday, effective immediately, we are revising this to a temporary 3% surcharge, until further notice. Dear Valued Customer,

Over the weekend, the United States and China reached a 90-day truce on trade policy. As part of the agreement, the reciprocal tariffs on Chinese goods will be reduced from 125% to 10%. This is good news, allowing us to reevaluate the price adjustments scheduled to take effect on June 9.

Your new List prices will be available to view on the digital price lists starting Monday, May 19. You can find these on our websites at:

As a reminder, we did not adjust Atlas Homewares pricing in April when Top Knobs prices were updated in response to the earlier round of tariffs. Instead, we chose to delay those changes to align with the mid-year catalog release. As a result, the upcoming Atlas Homewares pricing will reflect the cumulative impact of all tariff changes implemented so far this year, while the Top Knobs pricing reflects only the impact of the "reciprocal" tariffs.

Please note the following policies to determine which orders will receive current versus new pricing:

• Orders placed on or after June 9 will be subject to the new pricing, regardless of requested ship date.
• Orders placed before June 9 but with a requested ship date on or after July 9 will also be subject to the new pricing.

We recommend reviewing your upcoming needs and placing orders early to take advantage of current pricing. If you have any questions, please contact your sales representative.
